About the treatment

What does it involve?

Regenera Activa is a patented system that processes a small amount of donor skin (3 to 4 mm biopsy punch from the back of the head) into a cell-rich suspension of stem cells, growth factors, fibronectin and extracellular matrix components. This suspension is injected directly into zones with active hair loss. Regenera targets the regeneration of the microenvironment around the hair follicle — awakening dormant stem cells and extending the anagen phase. It is a one-time treatment requiring no repeat injections or synthetic substances.

What to expect

How the treatment unfolds

  1. Local anaesthesia of donor zone

    A small area on the back of the head is locally anaesthetised. A punch of 3 to 4 mm of tissue is taken — comparable to a small skin biopsy.

  2. Processing in the Regenera Activa system

    The biopsy is processed into a cell-rich suspension in less than 5 minutes, on-site at the time of treatment.

  3. Injection into the treatment zone

    The suspension is injected into the areas with active hair loss. The procedure takes 20 to 30 minutes.

  4. Recovery

    Minimal recovery. The donor punch heals within 1 to 2 weeks. First effects are noticeable from 3 months, with a peak result around 6 months.
