Consult
An initial appointment to assess your hair loss and discuss a personalised treatment plan.
What does it involve?
Hair loss has many causes: androgenetic, hormonal, nutritional or stress-related. Without a clear diagnosis, every treatment plan is a guess. During the consultation, the doctor takes your medical history, examines the loss patterns and discusses your expectations. Based on the findings, a concrete treatment plan is proposed — with realistic guidance on what each component can and cannot achieve.
How the treatment unfolds
Medical history
The doctor asks targeted questions about the course of hair loss, family history, medication use and possible triggering factors.
Clinical examination
A first visual and tactile assessment of the scalp, the loss pattern and hair quality. If indicated, a referral for trichoscopy or blood tests follows.
Treatment plan
Based on the findings, the doctor proposes a concrete plan: medication, diagnostics, injection treatment or transplant — or a combination.
Questions and expectations
Ample time for your questions. The doctor explains expected results, timeline and costs clearly.
